The band formed in 1990 after Steve Mann and Marck Love came together with their common musical obsession of T-Rex.

Marck would write the surreal lyrics while Steve put them to music and it wasn't long before they recorded their first album 'The Black Side of Piano Stars'.

The band followed this up with a 7" single entitled 'Finding the Needle ina a Squeeze' and gigged heavily around East Anglia and London picking up a lot of airplay for themselves as they went.

They released their second album in 2000 and are currently gigging while writing even more new material.

When they play live the line-up consists of Marck on vocals, Steve on guitar and backing vocals, Ally on bass, Mike on percussion and drums, and Bel on Cello.
