Ipswich-based alternative rockers, Things Found in Sharks, play the
music they love and they hope you like it too. |

The
first incarnation of TFIS appeared in the summer of 2003 with James
on acoustic guitar and Ryan on vocals.
After a number of shows playing Bowie covers, a chance look at Ryan's
old vinyl collection revealed a mutual love of Sonic Youth, Dinosaur
jr and Buffalo Tom.
Ryan switched to drums, James took on the vocals, and Barnie and
Paul were recruited on bass and guitar respectively.
Despite
any sense of musical direction, TFIS have struggled manfully to
incorporate as many of their influences into creating their own
sound.
TFIS play music they like. They hope other people like it too. Some
people have been to more than one gig. Things are going well, so
far.
