Alexei Chityan - Ashborn
Ashborn's lead singer Alexei Chityan

Ashborn have travelled a bumpy road since they formed in Derby in 2001. Now based around Bury St Edmunds and having gone through a few changes in line-up are they on the verge of making it big?

Once it's had time to work its way in to your mind, Rasina is a 'stand-out from the crowd' track. Tight rhythms and a huge sound that will sweep you off your feet and surround you with a blend of crashing guitars and piano melody.

The band members are:

Alexei Chityan - Vocals
Joe Stocking - Drums
Joel Wynn - Bass
Mar Williams - Guitar

When XFM, one of London's premier radio stations, invite you in to record a few tracks you can be fairly sure that you're doing something right.

In Ashborn's case, what they have is an ability to vary their sound between something that encompasses folk-influenced acoustic guitars and vocal style to contemporary, epic, and powerful rhythms.
