them before entering the Comedy Writing Competition. |

Rules
1)
The competition is open to all entertainers in the BBC Radio
Suffolk Transmission area, except employees of BBC Radio Suffolk
and their immediate families and anyone else connected with the
creation and administration of the promotion.
2) Entries must consist of a completed entry form, colour
photograph of the writer, and typed or word-processed script to
last a maximum of
5 minutes once produced.
3) Entries become the absolute property of the promoter and
will not be returned.
4) Entrants MUST be available for a radio interview during
the week commencing 07/05/02 if short-listed.
5) No payment will be made for any appearances and expenses
will not be met.
6) The prize of having the comedy script professionally produced
by the BBC will be awarded to the entrant who has demonstrated a
sound grasp of comedy writing for radio, as decided by the panel
of judges. There is no cash alternative to the prize.
7) Entrants may be required to take part in any publicity
accompanying or resulting from this competition.
8) By entering the competition, competitors agree to be bound
by the rules and by any other requirements set out in the promotional
material.
9) Those entrants who are under 16 must have their parent
or guardians consent.
10) Entries must be made on the official entry form. Forms
can be downloaded from this website or you can enter through the
online form. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete,
altered or illegible entries. No responsibility will be accepted
for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post or insufficiently
pre-stamped. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
11) The closing date for the competition is Friday 14th June
2002.
12) The panel of judges will include at least one member
who is independent of the promoter. The decision of the judges and
BBC Radio Suffolk organisers will be final and binding and no correspondence
will be entered into.
13) The winner will be officially notified by post from 15th
July 2002.
14) After 15th July 2002 the names of short-listed entrants,
the winner together with the names of the judging panel can be obtained
from Events and Promotions at the address below on receipt of a
stamped addressed envelope.
15) The promoter is BBC Radio Suffolk and their address is
