BBC Radio Suffolk is scouring the county in search of new comedy

A panel of celebrity writers will judge the entries, including David
Croft, co-writer and producer of the hit TV series Dads
Army, Are You Being Served?, Allo Allo and Hi-de-Hi and BBC Radio
1s legendary disc jockey John Peel.
Applicants
should submit a comedy script of up to five minutes in duration,

broadcast for Sally Goodwin and David Webb's afternoon show, with
a special repeat at Christmas.
David
Peel, Editor, BBC Radio Suffolk says: "I'm really excited by
this competition. There are lots of comedy clubs in the East and
I'll eat my hat if we don't find some super talent. It's also brilliant
to have David Croft and John Peel judging the scripts. They are
both famous for their humour, David through his superb TV writing
for Dad's Army and the like, and John for his funny sideways look
at life in his own network radio show."
