Great acting, puppetry and a bear on the loose in the 2009 Shakespeare in Rendlesham Forest.  Michael Palin's television play Crooked Wood has been adapted for the Aldeburgh Summer Theatre.  The singer brought Life In Slow Motion and a lot of banter to Thetford Forest in July 2009.  The tale of a small town girl fulfilling her dreams of modernity in jazzy 1920s Manhattan.  A 'promenade' play about immigration which took place in an Ipswich pub impressed our reviewer.  Our correspondent was no country fan until she went to a Suffolk music event and saw the light.  Stand up comedy designed for children? Our reviewer is impressed by the lack of knock knock jokes.  The amateur production of a Broadway classic is pretty good, says our reviewer.
