Another unmissable feature of the village is just how many antiques shops there are.

Long Melford Village sign
The village sign

There are 17 of them in Long Melford and one of them is even tucked away in the grounds of Melford Hall.

Whether you are visting Melford Hall, nearby Kentwell Hall or just passing through the area, you will see that Long Melford really is a picture postcard village.
