L is for Long Melford

The church stands above the village

Long Melford is dominated by the magnificent holy trinity church. It took more than 30 years to build and was funded by the success of the local wool trade.

There are 17 of them in Long Melford and one of them is even tucked away in the grounds of Melford Hall.
