A quiet back lane in Blythburgh

Most people see Blythburgh at 40 mph from the A12 never stopping never taking the time to look.

Blythburgh's Holy Trinity Church is sometimes known as the cathedral of the marshes.

Built in the 15th Century it is famed for its roof with its magnificent carved angels.

The vicar of Blythburgh is especially proud of his church. He says that you, " just look up at the roof and it really makes that come alive and you realise you are not just saying your prayers here by yourself ".

Blythburgh is also a source of a range of artistic talent. The Blythburgh group are a small group of artists who live and work in the village.

They make use of the areas natural beauty and resources to gain inspiration and aid their creativity.
