steve white we have an a series erf that belonged to cranfield brothers and would love to know more about the transport side thanks
steve i must say that the pic of the controls is the moast cool pic of the lot
Yvonne I think your photos are fantastic as this is part of the history of Ipswich. I particularly like the one with the shaft of light (brilliant). Shame IBC didn't think to record the whole dock regeration project as this could have become a book of interest to local historians.
Angela Interesting photos of something that will be no more soon, must have been a dusty job though!!
Mark Rick, thank you for the comment.
These photos are just part of my research documentation. I thought people might like to see the images before they are gone, and did not intend these images to be an artistic statement in anyway. Do people want to see more? If not, please say. I am not being paid to do this, so feedback is important to me.
Whilst I am writing, I would just like to say a big thank you to all the fantastic interviews and stories about Cranfield’s that people have shared with me over the past two weeks. Perhaps I could post some of these here later. I have had such a lot great of response so far it has really spurred me on.
Rick I can't see what the value is of these photographs. They seem to have no artistic merit whatsoever?. I have always been intrigues as to what is inside this building and I would like to see more while there is still time.
