I went with my daughter on the sunday, we had a fantastic time, just a couple of niggles though. Firstly, the celeb chefs could have been in a bigger area and maybe on a raised stage, as most people couldn't see their fav chef and it was very cramped. Secondly, more coffee stands next year please. 1/2 hour queue for coffee however good, is just silly. Apart from this can't wait for next year.

You lot are bananas! It was an amazing festival. If it was about profit margins they would have put rubbish burger vans everywhere and charged a fortune! I went with my three kids and for £25 for us all we were offered Athlete, Jose, Badly Drawn Boy AND a song with KT! That alone was worth double the money. My kids were then all pirates while I watched James Martin - profit! Well done Jimmy I say - very, very happy punters!

loved the separate childrens toilets, hated the queues for food and drinks, queued for an hour and 10 mins for burger!great idea was the shuttle buses from train station, too many people to make it really enjoyable.

Are you having a laugh? An hour wait for food, one beer tent with at least an hour wait. Disgusting. Hope your profit margin was worth it.

Incredible, amazing, awesome. Better than V and Glastonbury! Perfect size, so much to see and do for kids and adults - just need more food and drink stalls next year but what a blast - truly impressed Jimmy and Michela - excited for next year and already booked my early bird tickets! Very cool little fest xxx

We had a great time at Jimmy's. Like other's have said the queues for food and drink were crazy but all in all a fantastic weekend. Loved the music especially Seth Lakeman. It was great that it was such a child friendly festival. My two loved the pirates. Will definitely be going again next year! Well done Jimmy!

daniel

We all had a bril time, there was 8 in our group, but we had to rename it the Jimmy's QFest because of saturday, although on sunday the queues did subside, we had not seen anything like it, people actually waiting over an hour just to get a cider, we gave up and stuck to pims :-) but true to form the british public were amazing and everyone took it as teething problems along with some of the other things. Looking forward to the next one.

We had a fantastic time ont he saturday, 3 adults & a 14week old baby. we watched several of the chefs & stayed until around 9pm (got a bit chilly for the baby, we would have stayed otherwise) yes there were que's, but every festival i have been to there are huge ques, it wasnt a problem,, the weather was beautiful & you chat to everyone else who are waiting, all part of the festival experience.the atmosphere was wonderful, didnt see any trouble or rowdiness that you get at many festivals, the food & drink were brilliant, loved the grilled salmon & chips & Aspals Cyder. the choice of food was really good, nice to see a range of foods, & everyone seemed to be enjoying the food (didnt see any half eaten items thrown on the floor)excellent job jimmy & Co, we will be back next year (will many more friends who want to come with us after us raving about it so much)also nice to have something so local, we live close to bury st edmunds, so fantatsic location for us!

We had a really good time. Excellent food, music and cookery demos. I went of stage with Geno D'Acampo to help him cook - fantastic! A few things to iron out for next year - but, i', already looking forward to it! So nice to have another festival in Suffolk. Rock On!

My wife and I had a festival of two very differing days. Saturday contained some great music - Badly Drawn Boy is a real favourite of mine - BUT we went home early because (wait for it) we were hungry !! Need I say more ?!Sunday was much much better. We smuggled our own food in which meant we could relax and enjoy ourselves without wasting so much time queueing. The farm is a really lovely setting and we will definitely go next year - early bird rickets booked already. Saw some great music for the first time too - very impressed with the great shakes as well as the more established acts such as Seth Lakeman and KT Tunstall which was a superb way for the festival to finish. The chefs were inspiring and we enjoyed James Wong, Galton Blackiston, and James Martin. A family atmosphere was really pleasant to be a part of - and we would suggest you give it a look. For a first go, a stunning success all in all.

The negative comments made me laugh, you obviously didn't take the same experience from the day as me. It wasn't "Another money making venture" or you would have seen the usual waggones selling really awful food & over priced watered down booze. I thought The food and drink stalls were highly original and looked and smelt amazing. Yes there were queues and that is a learning point for Jimmy & co.There weren't too many people, it was just the right amount (something I am sure is controlled by the law anyway). Nowhere was overcrowded, I wouldn't have stayed with a 3 year old if so. The acts were a great choice for both the crowd and venue. I went with the wife and my little boy and it was his first festival. He loved the chickens, play area, Night Garden tent and woods. I was also surprised at how much he enjoyed the music as we rushed out front to see KT when she did a guest spot on Sam Lewis's set. Loved it and will go back next year for sure.

Had a great day on Saturday but the queues were mad. We were really excited about the food and drink but left at 11pm still hungry after giving up on waiting for food, although the burger I did eat was delicious, and the pink Aspall was also lovely. Not so impressed with the undercooked risotto from 15 chefs - but they had been churning it out for about 8 hours by then :) Good though, I'd go again next year, just for the day

I had a fantastic time! The music was great and the atmosphere was brilliant. I really enjoyed the cookery demonstrations particularly as my husband was on stage helping Gino D'Acampo - I got a hug from him too! James Martin was entertaining, but musically, my favorite was Seth Lakeman. Thanks Jimmy, lets have another one next year!

Andy Noble
Went on the Saturday great day.Music was good always a few teething problems eg.food and drink queues for first time certainly go back next year.Bring it on.

What a super little festival.......great music, wonderful food and fine weather made saturday a day to remember.......roll-on next year, nice one Jimmy...

Michael
went along with 5 friends (all regular festival goers so expected queues for loos). Had amazing day. Yes there were queues for food but we all wandered to the farm shop on site and bought a load of fresh produce and had a makeshift picnic. Wonderful!!. Bumped into lady with long dark hair couple of times who was frantic and beyond helpful. just looked at pics and realised it's Mrs Jimmy. She was great. You know when it's a real festival when the performers mingle with the crowd to watch other perfomers. We're all in for next year. Great fun all round

Really loved it. Great music, good value tickets, beautiful place, a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. Yes the queues were too long on Saturday but give them a break its the fist time. I enjoyed not having tons of Hippy Tat stalls. My only gripe was that there were no fresh water taps on site and someone cynically upped the price for a bottle of water from £1 to £1.50 over night at the Field Kitchen --come on the pigs had fresh water! That aside I will be first in the queue for next years tickets.

Chris
It was great, few teething problems but good for the first one. dont listen to the moaners!!

We - wife and 2 year old daughter, plus me - went on Saturday and had a fantastic day. This really was a family festival - loads of activities for the children (all of them free) and great celebrity chefs and music for the adults. A big shout out to the Pirate crew who bounded around the site all day in scorching heat, and it was great to see Badly Drawn Boy back on stage after a long absence.Well done Jimmy - more next year, please!

happy harvester
This was a great festival - really kid friendly (the childrens loos were the best idea EVER!). Was really glad to see that a few rabbits had been pulled from hats to help the food and drink queues on Sunday. But I don't think anyone can say they have ever been to a festival with enough loos. The atmosphere was great - realy relaxed and my little boy will be wanting to build dens and look for pirate treasure for evermore! thanks jimmy and the team for a lovely weekend xx

Got back to North Manchester yesterday evening after enjoying a fantastic weekend at the Farm with my wife and 4yr old boy, 11 of us went down and had a great time, what a beautiful part of the world and what a great atmosphere there was at the event. Yes there where long lines for everything on site, but this was the first time for eveyone! We will all be making the trip back down in 2010 - move over Mr.Eavis there's a new kid in town!

Ade
We attended the festival on Sunday & I think all in all considering it was the first one, Jimmy and his team did a really good job. Yes the queues for hot drinks were very long and no doubt this will be better next year - but let's not forget this is a working farm. It was good to see so many bins for rubbish, it's just very sad that some people cannot be bothered to walk 5 yards to put thier rubbish etc in them - I often wonder what their homes must look like!!KT Tunstall and all the other act, James Martin & the chefs were great. The overall organisation, parking and the ability to get everybody away from the farm was 1st Class and I think everybody deserves a big pat on the back.

Amanda
I was there Sunday with my family and we had a fantastic time, KT Tunstall and Seth Lakeman were amazing. The children loved all the activities and animals. We didn't experience any queues for toilets, and as we took a picnic we didn't need to queue for any food or drink. Well done to all the organisers, will certainly be coming back next year!!

A happy punter
I'm glad you moaners left early, meant the rest of us could enjoy a great event! Yes there's a few improvements to be made for next year, but for a first-time it was fantastic. Jimmy and the team can be proud =) As for those saying it was greed/a money-making exercise, get over yourselves! Glad you won't be there next time!

Michelle Whyman
Jimmy's Harvest Festival was amazing. We were there on both days and it was expertly organised and a fun filled weekend. Thanks to Jimmy's Farm

pongo
sorry to say, too many people there , not enough food stalls, the queues were enormous and it was not enjoyable. Two drink stalls only, the line of people waiting ages to be served was crazy. We left hour after arriving as did a few others. Half the number of people would have been better but i am not prepared to wait half hour for my burger to be cooked after paying for it and standing around like lemons waiting for a number to be called. Lots to be learnt if it is going to be a success next year. Wont bother going anyway. Greed seems to be the major factor here, allowing too many tickets to be sold and not enough food outlets.

vicky
This was the worst "festival" we've ever been to. Just seemed like another money making exercise for Jimmy. Not enough of anything for the money - food, live music, stalls all sadly lacking. The artists we did hear were good but not enough of them to keep the crouds entertained due to long breaks and only one stage. The local free music festivals are loads better. What a waste of money.

Anne Lansdown
In general it was a lovely day, very well organised, except for the unacceptably long queues for food and drink. Hope it's repeated next year.
