Mark threw himself into health charity work after his twin sister suddenly of a heart condition when she was 13 years old. He's made a film about the affect it's all had on him.

In 1998, Laura Fox died from a mystery heart condition - suddenly and without warning.

In his film, Mark Fox talks about the loss of his sister and the work he's done since with the health campaigners CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young.

The post-mortem examination showed that Laura definitely died of a heart condition, but they don't know exactly what it was or why she had it. They've been told that the only way to diagnose it would have been to carry out tests while she was still alive.

As a result the family's thrown itself into pressing for more research and setting up screening sessions for youngsters. As Suffolk reps for CRY, her parents have held sessions in the county at places including the Holiday Inn, Ipswich.

vicky our 20 yr old daughter died in 2003 to sudden adult death , we still have no answer to her death no cause has been identified , my heart goes out to anyone who loses a loved one this way as it is the strangest kind of death to understand and accept.. a silent killer !! that destroys the whole family ..well done mark on the video ..

My son James died in bed on 5th March 2004 aged 16. The post mortem couldn't find a reason. I wrote to Tony Blair and asked for screening to be carried out on youngsters but the letter I received from the Department of Health said it was not viable.
