Video niceys

Your BBC Suffolk Latitude team caught up with a number of the stars at the 2007 Festival. Andrew Woodger interviewed them on camera.

Bat For Lashes

In a week when Bat For Lashes were nominated for the Mercury Music Prize for the debut album Fur & Gold, Natasha Khan and her band appeared on the Obelisk Stage on Saturday afternoon.

She talks about performing at festivals, her dress sense and camping it up:

Scott Matthews

Scott Matthews is our second award winner.  His song Elusive from his debut album Passing Stranger won an Ivor Novello.  We caught up with him after his appearance in the Uncut tent and he talked about his influences from Zep to The Smiths.

He's also doing a good job on behalf of the Wolverhampton tourist board:

Au Revoir Simone

New York keyboard trio Au Revoir Simone were unlucky to be the only band caught out by the rain on the Obelisk stage all weekend, but a devoted following stuck with them on Sunday afternoon.

We persuaded them to talk to us in the idyllic setting of the Henham Park lake.  Not in the lake itself - on the grass bank:

Don Letts

Don Letts has been in and around the British music scene since the late 1970s when he recorded what was happening in London for his Punk Rock Movie.  At Latitude he was a guest of BBC Radio 4 who were broadcasting live from the site. He performed onstage as well.

An amiable chap - we 'mugged' him in the car park and he agreed to do an interview while he waited for his friends to turn up:

Video Nation

As part of the BBC's programme of letting you shoot your own stories, we gave a DV camera to Katy from Ipswich.  She went to Latitude in 2006 as well.

She gives us her thoughts on the toilets, why festivals are fun and what the future is for Latitude:

How was it for you?

On Sunday we asked how the festival had been for you:
