A Happy Accident

A Happy Accident

Mellow acoustic/electric duo who first met 10 years ago. Based in the Ipswich/Felixstowe area. Twenty-something songwriters Lisa Andrews and Joseph Hunt formed a new partnership in 2004 having both played in The Toys.

Lisa Andrews - vocals
Joseph Hunt - guitars

They describe themselves as a mixture of relaxed, laid-back songs and up-tempo numbers - perfect for cafes, wine-bars, restaurants and relaxed functions, but lest they get ignored by diners they can also be found at venues such as The Steamboat in Ipswich.

"A crystal-clear female voice over Sunday morning guitars - in fact not unlike The Sundays. Deserves to be heard above the noise of diners."

Mini Review

Their ten-track eponymous CD is available. If you buy it at Virgin in Ipswich, you may end up handing the money over to one of its creators!

It's hoped in-store performances and many more local gigs will follow. Check the group's website for more details.

A Happy Accident

Joseph Hunt released a self-produced solo album called 'Higher Than A Bonsai Tree' in 2006 while Lisa is also in a group called Lightbody.
