Presenter profilesYou are in: Suffolk > BBC Radio Suffolk > Presenter profiles > Rob Dunger ![]() RoB Dunger Rob DungerI was born in England's second city Birmingham, but have lived in many places in the UK as well as living in Holland for over 10 years.
About meI'm something of a polyglot and am fluent in English, French, Spanish and Dutch with a smattering of Greek and Turkish! I have lived in Suffolk for over 25 years and truly believe it is the finest county in the land. I started on BBC Radio Suffolk as a guest newspaper reviewer on Saturday mornings. I suppose I caught the bug and soon started helping on the phones at the weekend for a few hours, which soon turned into every Saturday morning and practically all day Sundays. My "former life" was as a florist and I am passionate about colour. Flowers and design have been my love for many years. I just love the thought that, even through the most adverse conditions, nature can replicate perfection - an example to us all! In my spare time I can often be found in the gym. I got hooked on body-building about five years ago and find it the best way to get rid of life's tensions.
