CrushDeluxe win Suffolk vote

CrushDeluxe have been chosen as Suffolk's representatives in the regional final of the Children In Need 'Be the Band' competition. Hundreds of calls were made to the vote hotline and for a long time it was hard to pick a clear winner.

CrushDeluxe always seemed like strong competitors and finally took the lead in the last 48 hours of the two weeks of voting with Delfini coming in a very close second place.

CrushDeluxe will now go on to face the other five victorious bands from across East Anglia. It's up to a BBC judging panel as to who will be crowned the overall winner and play live on BBC One from a huge Children in Need event in Norwich.

So who are they?

The song they entered in the comeptition is called "Are you ready for the weekend?" and was inspired by band member Ian Cook's daughter's ride on the school bus on a dreary Monday morning.
