BBC VOICES IS BACK!

Do you want to make a programme for the BBC or get your story published on the internet?

BBC Voices project

BBC Voices...
BBC Suffolk’s Voices project in Lowestoft earlier this year got local people making programmes for BBC Radio Suffolk and writing features for this website. They ranged from memories of Lowestoft’s past to ghost sightings in the town.

What's the new project?
The project was so successful we’re doing it again and we are looking for more stories to cover.
You don’t have to be an expert on computers, or a budding David Dimbleby, we will help you get your “voice” heard.

Stuck for ideas....
Just to give you an idea of one programme which is currently being recorded; a group of dads in Lowestoft are looking at what support there is for fathers, and are working to raise the profile of what men do to bring up their kids.

How can I get involved?
All you need to do is send me an e-mail outlining what you would like to do, and how you can be contacted.
Email: kate.hayward@bbc.co.uk

When will the programmes be on air?
The programmes will be broadcast in 2004 so its not too late to get involved. Don’t delay, apply today!
