"About 100 years ago Morglus had set out on his adventure," said Billy Bones with his shipmates around the bright fire.

"It's a tale you'll hear, it's very famous, I'll try and tell it..though because I'm old I might get things mixed up...."

At the top of 'wall away mountain' was a tiny village of dwarfs, they were dancing, singing, eating and drinking the finest food around.

Morglus the dwarf sat in the corner, he looked very sad. He got up, threw his coat over his shoulder and slowly walked home.

"I'm home," he called to his mother as he walked through the door. He walked into the bedroom, his very sick mother sat on the bed, Gluey his pet snail licking her face.

"Is that you Morglus? Please would you get me some bread I'm hungry."

Morglus pushed a tear from his eye looking at his mother. He went outside.

As he was walking back from the shops he saw a couple of dwarfs talking in a circle, he heard a little of what one said…" Yamazoe, it's a herb I've heard of can help dwarfs with the worst diseases."

Morglus ran home as fast as he could with the bread under his arm. "Mother, mother there's a herb that you can get to make you better, it's called Yamazoe, I thought I heard the farmer talking about it a couple of days ago, he said it is in the heart of the mountain….I meant the other side."

But when he got to his mother she was asleep. He opened her treasure chest up carefully and took out the map she had worshipped, he put on his travelling clothes, picked up his tiny dagger and put it in his pouch.
