Studio 1A

This is one of two identical studios that BBC Radio Suffolk uses throughout its broadcasting day. The time is 9.21am and Nick Risby is in the studio getting ready for his programme which goes live at 10am.

You will see that he is sitting in front of a large console, from which he controls exactly what is going out on air. He is surrounded by a bank of sophisticated technical equipment and a series of visual display screens.

The window to the right of Nick looks directly into Studio 1B, the window in front of Nick looks into the Centre Studio and the window to his left looks into the station's reception area.
