Family Life
Pamela grew up in South Lanarkshire, near Hamilton. During the week she lives and trains in Edinburgh.
Got to Dance
Pamela attended dance lessons as a young child but gave them up when she was eight. She started again when she turned fourteen and has never looked back since. Pamela has been attending the Telford College of Dance since she was seventeen.
Pamela's dance background is mainly Ballet and Jazz-based but she has recently studied Contemporary Dance as part of her HND. Pam prefers Jazz as she feels it's the most fun, it's a dance where you can really let yourself go.
Her Partner
Pamela took part in the first live audition show in series one. She competed in the Line Dance against Jodie and Danny (the eventual runners-up) but didn't make it through. This time around she's made it - having been partnered with Paul Maguire in the London recalls.
Living in the Mansion
Pamela is looking forward to the Dance Mansion but apprehensive about missing her family and friends. Pamela can't wait to get into the Mansion to get focused and ûget down to itú. She is looking forward to making new friends and being faced with new challenges every day.
Going Live
Pamela thinks the live shows will separate the good dancers from the bad. They will be nerve-wracking and she believes having a good routine will not be enough. Pamela puts her emphasis on performance and thinks that if you haven't got the nerve to pull off the weekly performances then you shouldn't be in the competition.
Dance Idols
Michael Jackson and Michael Flatley from Lord of the Dance are the people from the dance world that inspire Pamela the most. If Pamela could dance with anyone it would be Patrick Swayze (when he was younger).
