Family Life
Darren lives with his parents. He has an older brother and younger sister. He is currently unemployed and spends his time line dancing in Wales and in Holland.
Got to Dance
Darren is completely immersed in his line dancing. He's never been to a dance school but has danced with various line-dancing clubs.
He has competed in many line dancing competitions over the past seven years, winning many of them. He has won the Choreography World Championships in Line Dance every year since 2002.
His Partner
Darren is partnered with Lana Williams. Darren and Lana hit it off straight away and Darren was pleased to have her as his partner. He felt they connected instantly on a dance level.
Going Live
Darren is excited about the live shows, he can't wait to perform. He says he isn't nervous but has found nerves have affected his dance in the past and he isn't going to let this happen in Strictly Dance Fever.
