Family Life
Stewart lives with his parents and grandparents. Stewart is very close to his Grandparents as they played such a large role in his childhood. His 80-year-old Grandfather is his number one fan. Stewart's currently studying Biochemistry with Medical Biochemistry at Cardiff University.
Got to Dance
Stewart has been dancing competitively since he was nine years old and comes from an intense Latin and Ballroom background.
His favourite dances are – in Ballroom, the Tango because you can really let yourself go and get into it, and in Latin, the Pasa Doble as he loves the jumps and lifts involved.
His Partner
Stewart auditioned in Cardiff with his dance partner of eighteen months, Stephanie, but she was knocked out at the London recalls. Stewart was excited about getting through to the next stage but described it as þbitter-sweet' as he was upset that Stephanie didn't get through.
Stewart is pleased to be partnered with Clare as he had noticed her dancing during the recalls and Clare has a dance teacher who is well known in the Latin and Ballroom world, which he was impressed by.
Living in the Mansion
Stewart has a feeling that arguments in the Mansion are inevitable! He thinks the majority of them will get on in the Mansion but feels there will be arguments between dance partners.
Going Live
Stewart wants to win the show so he can prove to people that he can dance. He explains that when he tells people he can dance, they just don't believe him. Especially as a biochemist, people don't take his dancing seriously and he can't wait to see their faces when he is on the live BBC One show on Saturday nights.
Dance Idols
If Stewart could dance with anyone it would be Lilia Kopylova from the last series of Strictly Come Dancing.
