What did the judges think of our contestants' Mambo?
First up were JAMES and CLAIRE who danced to Mambo Italiana.
"I was very proud you attempted that lift. Now you know you can do them," said Arlene, before adding, "You didn't actually work together - it wasn't a dance for two." "James, I thought you came up trumps this week," said Stacey.
Votes: Arlene: 5, Luca: 6, Stacey: 7, Jason: 6 = 24
JOSEPH and SADIE performed to Guaglione. "You look amazing Sadie," said Jason, before adding, "I'm not convinced there was enough Mambo in it." Stacey and Luca agreed.

CEM and GEMMA's Mambo No. 5 got a mixed reaction from the judges. "Your lifts were very adventurous [but] you need to look into changing your moves," said Jason, commenting on the fact he's noticed the use of the same steps from week to week. "I actually liked their Mambo," disagreed Stacey.
Votes: Arlene: 7, Luca: 8, Stacey: 8, Jason: 7 = 30
ADAM and REBECCA danced to Papa Loves Mambo, but Stacey didn't love theirs. "You weren't on the beat at all, you kind of got it as you went along, but it was just too late." "We had a great time, and that's all that matters when you're dancing," pointed out Adam.

DANNY and JODIE danced to Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom Wine. Stacey loved it, "Beautiful, stunning lifts .... you were sexy you were together you were couple." "Until they come along tonight I was losing the will to live," agreed Arlene. "lt was everything a Mambo is supposed to be."

NATHAN and KRISTY couldn't dance, due to Nathan suffering a soft tissue sprain. By the rules of the competition, they were awarded just one point, meaning that only the public vote could save them - and the public did just that, voting Adam and Rebecca off the show.

Have loved all three series but this one is best. Hope one of the men win Colin or Daren. Daren would be less aware of his arms and hands if the judges did not keep on about them. Zoe is good but makes mistakes which she seems to get away with. Colin and Daren have to work hard to lead as a male dancer should. Go for it boys.

Zoe did considerably well considering she was ill this week. In my mind, she and Ian definitely deserve to win, especially when you consider just how much of this series they have been in front. This week was a blip caused by illness. I'm sure they'll be back up there next Saturday. Good luck!

This year it seems such a shame to have to have a winner. All the celebrities have danced really well this year and the choreography has been superb. Zoe has such a natural talent, as does Colin, but Darren and James have worked so hard and improved immensely. It was sad to see Patsy go, especially as she has been the only celebrity so far to acknowledge that apart from having a wonderful time on the show, money has been raised for children in need. This really is the perfect show in every way. Thank you all for entertaining us - you make dark winter Saturday evenings truly special.

Being a Barnsley girl it's lovely to see that Darren has come this far he's danced wonderfully and done his fellow Yorkshiremen (and women!) proud, go for it Dazza! Sadly I do feel, like others, that Colin & Erin have been marked down by the judges more than once. Most weeks they've performed better than Zoe & Ian but have been awarded lower scores. The final should hopefully be between Colin/Erin & Zoe/Ian, there's not that much between them so it will be a case of whoever performs best on the night will win. Unfortunately, sexy as he is, James isn't of the same standard and if he does win it won't be for his dancing skills!

Darren & Lilia to win the series. Darren has consistently improved week by week & still the judges undermark him. He epitomizes what the series is about to take a non-dancer & teach him to dance. He has come so far since week one. I think Lilia is doing a great job & they look fabulous together. They have the best partnership of all the dancers. They make dancing look fun & sexy. What an inspiration all the dancers are, the effort that they all put in is tremendous. I think James has improved so much, he does get a lot of critical comments, but he has tried really, really hard. He is a great chef and I think he is a great dancer! Darren is not naturally built for dancing, so has achieved the most, and is the most improved in terms of his all- round style. He is the one most men can relate to and has done the most to make dancing appealing to men. Well done all the dancers, you are all such a joy to watch!

James should go he is letting Camilla down badly as he proved on Sat. We know he is a chef but Zoe, Patsy, Darren and Colin aren't professional dancers either and they are making the effort. He always complains too, nobody else is doing that. Its time to go James.

I think that all the couples dancing did a fantastic job throughout the series, so I think that since all enjoyed it so incredibly much and had such a good time together with each other, all knocked out cotestestants should do a group dance as a treat for the finalists in the final.
Patsy was like a happy spark to the show, so at least she, who was so close to the semifinal, she should come back to dance for the finalists.
I think that Colin should win, he has it all and the judges have said he looks like a pro. Darren is also good, a male winner and an athlete, they have never such combination before. Both Colin and Darren have the physical and mental stregth and they should be in the final.
I am such a fan of Colin and he is a joy to watch, so I want Colin to win.
I watch SCD every saturday, wouldn't miss it for the world.

I wonder if Andrew had an injury on Saturday night as I didn't see him do any lifting when the professionals were dancing. I love that part of the show. Have really gone off Zoe the way she hangs on to Ian, but Ian is so good. Think Colin and Erin will win with Darren & Lilia 2nd and hope that James is 3rd.

I thought Colin and Erin's rumba was the sexiest thing on TV since Colin Firth looked longingly at Jennifer Ehle in Pride and Prejudice. Colin should win because he is excellent at both ballroom and latin. I do not understand why when the judges have nothing negative to say they still do not give him 10's.

Well done Erin, Lilia and Ian on all your hard work and not forgetting Camilla. James to go this week for me, nice guy and you have improved no question on your commitment but not upto the same standard as the rest yet - sorry Camilla but if you do prove me wrong on Saturday I will change my vote. I absolutely love the show and have done since series one! however, following the departure of Patsy and Anton on Saturday, I am compelled to write how much I disagree with the voting public. It was evident that Anton and Patsy are better dancers than James and Camilla - I feel disappointed that this is now more about Celebrity / Personality than ability!!!! I think James should have the bottle to admit he scraped through on Saturday due to the public vote.

Don't knock the juges thy are as entertaining as the contestants. But they should remember that those without natural ability are probably putting in twice as much effort in their training as the leaders.

Week on week Colin and Erin give excellent performances; the judges rave about them and still they don't get top marks. If there is soemthing that they are not doing right, why don't the judges tell us about it; otherwise they should give him more 10's. Zoe gets them and yet her style isn't a patch on Colin's and don't forget, Colin has to lead - it is harder for a man.

I love the show. How Zoe and Ian ended up in the bottom two I really don't know. They have been consistently very good and deserve a place in the final. I am very sorry to see Patsy and Anton go - Anton looked so disappointed and I really felt for him.

what went wrong with the judges on saturday the were very unfair with the marks ZOE was not very good and didnt deserve the marks she got. James was marked down ,every on at home could see this so they stayed when it should of been Patsy

Have just watched Saturday's programme. Colin and Erin were absolutely fantastic. Slightly disappointed in their scores as didn't seem to match the judges comments. I thought they would get more 10's!! Especially when you see the marks given to Zoe and Ian compared to the comments given. Hope Colin is the first male to win!

Surely Darren cant really last any longer. Not in same league as other 3 couples remaining, all his self grandisement, very false modesty and bravado just doesnt wash. Lillia is beautiful, deserves a better partner.

So the semi's have been decided and the best four are through. I'm sorry but James doesn't convince me - he tries hard but hasn't got the near-perfection of the other three. Zoe does well but would do well to be less talkative; she lloks good with Ian because they are the right height together. But I'd really like to see a male winner - which one? Tough question - VERY tough! Colin and Darren are probably equally good but they have different styles - just like 2 different cheeses - both very tasty, but different! I think Colin will win with the judges but they are far too critical of Darren's hands and arms - they are no worse than some of the celebrity males whose hand/arm movements sometimes look 'odd' to say the least. Although Colin is excellent and looks more like a natural dancer I really think Darren should win because he seems to be more believable in the terms of the competition.. he puts everything into it heart and soul and with Lilia they are just so MAGIC.

I think they have been undermarked all through, especially on Saturday. Both couples have entered into the spirit of the show, and have made the greatest improvements.

Just three things to say about Colin and Erin this week - Wow! Wow! Wow! I would love the judges to explain why they didn't give him a 10 for his Rumba...it looked pretty perfect to me and they couldn't find a bad thing to say about it in their comments.

Love all the dances and the dancers. This week Colin did it for me, really looked like he was dancing and not just grinning for the cameras. When James dances ballroom he looks so classy. Don't know why everybody raves about Darren, all show and no control. Zoe and Ian move so quickly they always look good. Patsy has little control but lots of guts and Anton is giving her great choreography to show her off to her best advantage. Love the whole thing. Keep dancing.

Colin can dance like a god! Even though Zoe's been so ill this week she danced very well tonight. I don't think that the judges marks are consistent with their comments. They need to remember that the celebrities are not professional dancers & cut them some slack. They're doing their best!

I think that the judges are very harsh with most of the things that they say to the contestants. Most of the time they are critisising things that you can hardly see. It seems as though the judges expect the celebrities to dance like professionals when they have only been learning for 8 weeks!
