Rumba from the heart

Camilla was firm with Tom in training today, not letting him muck about. She impressed on him how much the Rumba must be danced from the heart and that she expects him to dance even when he has no steps. She was also adamant that he has to be more macho with the Rumba, and fling her about with more aggressiveness; this was proving to be a tough challenge for Tom, but she pushed further and further and eventually succeeded in getting the aggression out.

Tom struggled, and on more than one occasion chastised himself, by saying: "some days it just ain't clicking." Camilla then shared that: "everything in life is in this dance: love, loss, happiness." To which Tom replied: "right... that's why it's so distressing!!"

Tom was also concerned about how sexy and intimate the dance is, even though he's been dancing with Camilla for weeks, this dance really seems to have affected him, and, at one point, he felt he needed his wife's presence, to give approval.

Although Tom felt frustrated, finding it difficult to get the hang of the Rumba, and revealing that he has yet to 'feel' the dance, he knows he must follow Camilla's advice and dance this from the heart.
