As Football Wives’ sultry, scheming and sexy Tanya Turner, glamorous Zoe created television’s hardest anti-heroine and one of the most memorable female characters of the past decade.
Her juicy and far-fetched storylines thrilled and appalled millions of viewers in equal measure and included tales of fake tanning, murder, adultery and baby swapping.
A big Strictly aficionado, glamorous Zoe is looking forward to the Latin dances and the sparkly costumes in equal measure!
Zoe Lucker
Zoe is one of four children. She has two brothers, Steve and Richard, and a younger sister called Suzy. Her parents live in the Yorkshire countryside, where they run a stained glass business.
Away from the high drama of her professional parts, Zoe is engaged to film editor, Jim Herbert. In September 2008 she gave birth to their daughter Lilly Alabama.
As a child, Zoe was a huge fan of the American TV show Dynasty and loved Joan Collins’s character. Alexis. Zoe would later go on to star alongside Joan in Footballer’s Wives.
James is 31 and 5’11”. His professional dance partner is his wife, Ola Jordan. They have been dancing together for 9 years and turned professional in 2003. Along with Ola, his speciality is Latin American.
James was born in Gillingham, Kent and grew up in the Medway area. His mum Sharon works in a bank, whilst his father Alan is a site manager for a power station. Both used to teach the formation team at Peggy Spencer’s dance school in Penge, but didn’t continue their dancing after having children.
Once he turned 21, James could no longer take part in Youth competitions, so he took a six-month break from dancing, and then decided to travel to Poland and have a try-out with Ola. They were perfect together and within three weeks Ola had moved to the UK and they had become dance partners.
