Lottery money helped this long-established, leading amateur group
to build its own brand new, purpose built, 220-seat theatre, which
is generally agreed to be an outstanding success. The Rep's production
company, the Stoke on Trent Repertory Players - amateurs, but all
very experienced actors - performs a season of 5 plays a year (many
from the classics, modern and old) as well as inviting in visiting
companies. |
