Community Theatre present The Hollow Crown - ATC are one of the
first companies in the country to perform a brand new version of this production
(first presented by the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1961), with readings and
music about the Kings and Queens of England: the broken figure of Richard II when
he is deposed by Henry Bolingbroke; the naivety of Jane Austen as she gives a
young woman’s account of the History of England; the pathos of Anne Boleyn’s words
to her husband as she awaits her execution ... and more. Directed by Austin Stickley.

Revellers perform Good Golly Miss Molly - the show by Bob Eaton
was premiered at the New Victoria Theatre in Stoke before transferring to The
Arts Theatre London. The story was originally based in the Potteries as Molly
is arranging a reunion of the local “Band” to raise community awareness, and she
remembers her Rock and Roll past - with numbers like Good Golly Miss Molly, Hit
the Road Jack, It’s in his Kiss, Twist and Shout and many others. Tracey Brough

Players present Because of The Lockwoods - light comedy drama by
Constance Cox, set in Lancashire in 1902. Mrs Hunter recently bereaved, her son
and two daughters are obliged to move from their comfortable home and live in
the poorer district of town. The Lockwoods' former neighbours prove patronising
but the Hunters are saved from despair by the help of Oliver, a young junk dealer
whose cheerfulness and acumen assists them to a much brighter future. Director
