The connection between Stoke on Trent and The Rocky Horror Picture Show goes back some thirty years.
The first touring production of the show outside London was launched by the old Hanley Theatre Royal company, and, of course, Hanley was one of the big main dates on that first, famous tour.
(Do you know of the Theatre Royal Rocky dummy? - click here)

The latest tour of the show has been no different in terms of popularity, especially with Stoke-born Jonathan Wilkes in the title role...
..... and now you can see the pictures of the gloriously-dressed audience!!

That dummy...
Twenty-ish years ago, when Rocky Horror first came to North Staffordshire, the actors in the Green Room at the Theatre Royal in Hanley would kiss a giant dummy for luck.
Anyone know why? or what happened to it?
