IGNITE! is a performance that is a combination of FRONTLINE dancers working together with project participants.
In it they have created a piece dealing with the ideas and feelings of friendship, and what it feels to live in Stoke-on-Trent.

IGNITE is a cross-generation project which has provided people of all ages and abilities the chance to work alongside each other creatively - whilst gaining respect, knowledge and understanding of each other ... through the means of dance.

FRONTLINEdance
DancerEstablished for two-and-a-half years, the initiative aims to provide participation and performance for people of all abilities, including wheelchair users.

It has received critical acclaim up and down the country for its energetic, inspiring and accessible dance performances and workshops.

Achievements
In fact, over the past twelve months FRONTLINEdance has created and toured ‘A Table for one please!' which was choreographed by Artistic Director, Rachael Lines.

They have also created a site-specific film piece, called ‘FootFalls’, commissioned by Stafford Borough Council.

The last academic year saw the launch of 'Inclusion’, a dance-in-education programme of workshops and performances to six special schools in N. Staffordshire.
This hugely successful project has lead to 'INCLUSION 2' which will take place this September.

And now it's over to you....
The IGNITE project has received financial support from the Robbie Williams Give it Sum fund, in addition to the support given by the Millennium Volunteers and the Stoke-on-Trent College.

But IGNITE still needs volunteers to help with 'behind the scenes' jobs such as lighting, music, stage management, set, and Front of House staff.
If you are interested please do not hesitate to e-mail Rachael Lines or tel: 07919 026962

FRONTLINEdance is a professional, but not-for-profit company.
