Requests
This one is from Pat Morley:
Kings College Hospital will shortly be opening
a new wing and have asked for blankets, hats and socks for the premature
babies and also blankets for the little ones in the bereavement section.
Although I have been machine knitting for years I have never tackled anything
so small and would be grateful for any advise you can give me. I appreciate
that your time is precious but I'm beginning to have panic attacks!!!

Stamps
Because of postage costs involved in sending care packages to the various
hospitals around Britain, we're looking for UNUSED British postage stamps.

Donations
As well as welcoming patterns, wool or completed items, Haslington Ray of
Hope can accept cash donations. We have already received some in lieu of
flowers from funerals (thank you for thinking of us), and a lady in Sandbach
did a pub crawl on our behalf... we also receive support from more conventional
activities like coffee mornings.
