This year's festival theme is "Hands" - see below to see how you can try your hand at many of the interactive events organised to showcase the theme!

Festival Entertainment
The idea of the festival is to pick three days when the "Cultural Quarter" - the bit of Hanley that includes the Potteries Museum, the Regent Theatre and Victoria Halls as well as Radio Stoke and many restaurants and clubs - really flowers... and let people get involved.

CQ5's Top Entertainment

1. "Tommy" starring Jonathan Wilkes is at the Regent Theatre
2. The BBC Philharmonic Orchestra performing at the prestigious Victoria Hall on the 6th and o
n the 7th; and you can join in the fun at the Family Organ Day!
3. On the 7th & 8th you can see art and craft displays or maybe create your own puppet; whilst on the 8th there is an opportunity to meet Antiques Roadshow expert Lars Tharp - all at the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.
4. Churasco's Bar have arranged events on all 3 days - including "Sax and the City", "Tapas & Tomes" and a chance to get rid of your unwanted books - or maybe pick up some new ones - at its Room 101 . . . "Book Off" event!!
5. Bethesda Chapel gardens will be open to host a Craft Fair. There will be live music and an exciting "Live on Stage" event, showcasing the very best of local talent.

Feeling peckish?
Throughout the 3-day Festival visitors will have the chance to explore a special Continental Market and experience the delights and culture of France - trés trés bon!

Meanwhile some of the City Centre restaurants will have a range of special offers available during the Festival with the CQ5 logo displayed in participating restaurants.

Want to get involved?
The festival is particularly keen to invite school-children from within North Staffordshire to produce a piece of artwork or other craft project, which reflects their interpretation of the them - "Hands".
Short-listed entries will be displayed for the viewing public over the festival weekend - with the winning entry receiving a prize for the school of 30 tickets to the Regent Theatre.
