A: The Portmeirion 'Hotpots' Calendar 2005 that's what!

The staff at Stoke-on-Trent pottery firm Portmeirion have stripped for a charity calendar to raise money for Children in Need!

Forget your 'dress down Friday' and your raffles and tombolas, the only way to raise money these days is to get your kit off, and that's the case over at local pottery firm Portmeirion.

The company is launching a limited edition calendar, featuring twelve plucky Portmeirion staff, and following in the footsteps of the 'Calendar Girls' and the 'Full Monty' by getting ordinary folk to strip off to raise money for Children in Need.

Not just for the blokes...
Let's get things straight - this calendar's not just girls, there's ample snaps of hunky chaps for all the ladies (and some men of course!) to keep you smiling throughout 2005.

Something different
Tanya Willott (Miss February) explained:

"Every year members of staff from Portmeirion come to work in fancy dress to raise funds for this worthy cause and to date we have raised in excess of £8,000."

"This year we had a suggestion to do something a bit different along the lines of 'Calendar Girls'. So instead of dressing up we've done the opposite!"

All trades...
The stripped stars of the calendar are drawn from all areas of the company, from lithographers to selecters, technicians and operatives.

Even the Multimedia department who put the calendar together are featured, so it seems no-one at the company was safe from the camera lens!

The Calendar is available from Portmeirion's own shops in Stoke-on-Trent, Chester and London.
