Budding
explorers take note: Burton-on-Trent is your destination, and a new
giant maze at Postern House Farm in Tatenhill, Burton-on-Trent is
your challenge.
The seven foot high, six acre maze was designed by Adrian Fisher,
whose other works can be seen in locations across the UK.
Fisher mazes have appeared in the Guinness Book of Records on seven
occasions.
Family-themed
The site is mostly aimed at families, from outdoor activities like
the assault course and 'farmyard friends' area, to the space-themed
maze itself.
Shaped like a spaceman, the maze is accompanied by a 'game' which
continues the 'intergalactic' theme of the farm.
The maze also forms a giant puzzle which might keep the kids interested
before they get tired of walking round... Who knows!
However...
If you're not particularly bothered about saving 'cyberdogs' from
some 'space-villains', you could always just have a wander round...
The maze will be open seven days a week until 5th September, and then
on weekends only, until the end of September - 10.30am until 6.00pm.
