Balloons in Mow Cop - Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
Don't
forget to let go!
The
BBC Radio Stoke mid-morning team went to Mow Cop Castle for the Breast
Cancer Awareness campaign. Let's just hope that Kevin Fernihough remembered
to let go of the balloons!!!

do you think of this story? Send us your opinion... Have your say
BBC Radio
Stoke supported Breast Cancer Awareness Month by releasing 100 pink
balloons into the skies of Mow Cop.
Listeners were invited to come into the BBC Radio Stoke Open Centre
and leave their message for loved ones.
These
were then attached to 100 balloons and released into the air on Friday
25 October.
The aim of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is to increase awareness
of the disease so that women seek help early enough - which in turn,
increases their chance of survival.
Over the past eight years the campaign has become well established,
but the need for awareness is still as important as ever.
That's why Kevin Fernihough and the midmorning team ventured out!
And
at the end of the day we caught the team sneaking into the bar -
a well-earned rest they called it, to discuss next week's programmes!
A likely story - we'll let you decide!!!!
