What's OnYou are in: Stoke & Staffordshire > Entertainment > What's On > Regent Theatre's 10th Anniversary ![]() The auditorium at The Regent Regent Theatre's 10th AnniversaryRobert Brown The Regent Theatre in Hanley has shown top touring productions for 10 years now as well as hosting major dance and operatic events - and celebrated its tenth anniversary in September 2009 The Regent Theatre entertainment venue, in Stoke-on-Trent, stages plays, musicals, top operas – especially by Glyndebourne Touring with whom it is a partner – and comedy shows from top comedians, including the likes of Michael McIntyre. Twinned with The Victoria Hall in Hanley, it has celebrated its 10th anniversary with activities for all the family – including a free family fun day, a photo exhibition and lots more… Even though the theatre holds tours on a regular basis, this was its first 'Open Day'. Memories of the PastThe exhibition photos included The Queen’s visit, Derek Jacobi opening the venue, and lots of famous faces who have treaded the boards here over the years.
