Crochet Blanket (CP)

This blanket is nice and lightweight and is more suitable in pastels for the post natal wards, or in darker colours for the stroke/rehabilitation ward. Use any thickness of yarn, with a hook size to give a soft pliable fabric.

Work 6 chain. Join with a slip stitch to form a ring
Work 3 treble, 2 chain, 3 treble, 2 chain, 3 treble, 2 chain, 3 treble, 2 chain.
Join to first treble with a slipstitch. Slip stitch into the first space.
Work 3 treble,2 chain, 3 treble into space.
1 chain, 3 treble into next space.
Continue working 2 sets of trebles in each corner and one set in each space between corners. Join with slip stitch at end of each round.
Continue until size required is reached, or make several small squares and crochet or sew together to make desired size.
