Living the trout dream

On the banks of the Gailey Fishery near Cannock there's a haven of peace, tranquillity and 35 acres of trout fishing...

Now, if you're a keen fisherman - how about this for a dream come true. A group of men from Staffordshire have bought their own trout fishery.

It's one of the oldest fisheries in the Midlands, and when the previous owner couldn't carry on looking after it, they decided it was their duty to take on this labour of love.

It's become one of the biggest challenges of their lives, so Laura May McMullan hooked up with them on the banks of the Gailey Fishery near Cannock...
