Baby hat

Pull-on Baby Hat - to suit newborn baby (HKP)

NOTES: Sideways Knitted. This little hat is very simple to knit. Very useful. Can easily be done striped. We have even seen it done in Football Colours. It is used in the Delivery Suite and on the Neo-natal ward.

Double Knit Yarn.No 8 Needles.

Finished Hat weights approx ¾ oz or 25grms

Cast on 30 . (36) stitches

Do not cast on too tight(Leave a length of yarn end to sew seam up with)

Row 1 KnitRow 2 PurlRow 3 Knit

Repeat rows 1 to 3 until work measures approx 10" (12")

( 14 (16) Purl ridges on each side of work)

Cast off.

Do not cast off tightly

Draw up one side to form a crown.

Sew up side seam.
