Enjoy the Football Season....!

At the moment we have free car-stickers, for all three of our local sides - Stoke, Vale and Crewe, all similar to the one we feature here.
Just call in and pick up one during opening hours; or just send a stamped addressed envelope to Hilda, BBC Radio Stoke, Cheapside, Hanley, Stoke on Trent, ST1 1JJ - and we'll send it back to you.

Reception is open between 9am and 5pm each weekday.

Radio Stoke Frequencies are:  94.6FM (104.1 FM in Stafford), and 1503 kHz MW

Our friendly and professional reception team headed by Hilda Austin will almost certainly be the first people you speak to when you telephone or visit BBC Radio Stoke. They'll do their best to ensure your contact with the station is pleasurable and handled effectively.

Not only is the radio station based here, but also local BBC TV and the BBC Staffordshire website. 

You'll find the Radio Stoke building on the corner of Cheapside, looking out onto Albion Square. We're very close to Hanley Bus Station and the Victoria Hall (where there is loads of pay-parking), all within a couple of minutes walk.

Keepsakes of your favourite local radio station

We always have a small range of BBC Radio Stoke branded items. Many, like car window stickers and presenter pictures, are free. But if you'd like your own branded mug - made here in the Potteries of course - we ask the princely sum of £2.50!

Throughout the year, we also feature special items.

You can support the BBC Children In Need appeal by purchasing Pudsey goodies. Tickets are available for our hugely popular annual Carol Concert from mid-November every year.

Owd Grandad; and Arthur Berry

Finally, we have recordings on CD and cassette of certain Radio Stoke recordings.

Alan Povey's 'Owd Grandad Piggott' tapes and CD cost around £5. Each CD or tape contains 12 short stories narrated in Potteries dialect by Alan, the creator and voice of 'Owd Grandad.

The latest OWD Grandad CD  is called' Fower Ton of Scrap' at £7.75.
Other CDs available are: OGP and the Spondon Falcons, £7.50; No Ale at the Inn, £7.75; Vintage Gold 2005, £7.75
On cassette, OGP is on: Darby n Joan,  £5; Cheadle Cowboys  £5; The Human Cannonball,  £6; Ram Raider,  £6; Piggin Disaster,  £6; OGP and the Spondon Falcons, £6; No Ale at the Inn,  £6.25; Vintage Gold 2005,  £6.25.

We also have an Arthur Berry CD, 'Lullaby of Queen Street'  at £6.50, in which the late Burslem-born poet and writer reads from his own tales and observations of life in North Staffordshire.
