Seeking a drummer
We need a new drummer for the North Staffs Accordion Band. It is done on a voluntary basis as does the rest of the band - whichconsists of 16 accordions, one bass accordion (amplified) and a double bass player, under their musical director Mr.Geoff Millward. It plays at various venues around Stoke-on-Trent and beyond sometimes doing charity concerts.Anyone interested should call Geoff on 01782 626874.

Semi-Nude at the Garrick
Lichfield Garrick theatre is on the look out for a woman to play ‘Britannia’ in its forthcoming production of The Entertainer by John Osborne. It is not a speaking part, but requires the performer to sit as ‘Britannia’, together with shield and trident, whilst the play’s central character, Archie Rice, performs his routine. The script does require the actor to be semi nude, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable with their body and happy to show it off. It will be tastefully done and carefully to show off your best side! This is a great opportunity to perform on stage with experienced professional actors in a classic piece of theatre.
The Entertainer runs from Thursday 8th to Saturday 31st October.

Wetley Rocks Male Voice Choir
The Choir is looking for singers, especially with a recording date coimg up.

Volunteer actors needed
A part-time position has opened for Staffordshire’s budding witches and warlocks at at the Monkey Forest at Trentham. The Stoke-based charity, Caudwell Children, is calling for the region’s budding actors and actresses to join the Barbary macaques and dress up in theatrical costume to add to the ghoulish theme. The Charity needs the scary characters to join the fun at the Trentham attraction from Saturday October 24th to Sunday November 1st between 10am and 5pm ; each volunteer will be provided with a costume to wear and meal vouchers to spend in the Banana Café each day.

lokk if you want to go to auditions there is only one way to do look through these pages, look on each groups web site or in the papers. there is no need to advertise yourselves on here no one will will come looking for you. its up to you to go looking for them. I know I am 12 years old and have been doing amateur since i was 6. And if you want to get into films you have to get a agent like me.Hope this helps
