Staffordshire UFO Group

The Staffordshire UFO Group aims to find out why things go bump in the night locally!

Staffordshire UFO Group was started in 1995 with a remit to investigate UFO cases in Staffordshire.

Since that date, a number of the more interesting cases have been investigated including some of those which have occurred in the past on its borders such as the RAF Cosford/Shawbury event.

Monthly meetings have been held since the groups beginnings with invited speakers from all fields who have involvement in the subject from the esoteric to the scientific, with no particular bias being held by the group organiser.

Occasionally, the group holds skywatches, and conducts the odd experiment which may help to explain a sighting or theory and has good resources and expertise to evaluate UFO data that might be presented to them.

Recently, UFO footage and photos taken in August 2004 have been professionally enhanced and analysed to reveal some very exciting results. Such results will be put into the public domain.

Staffordshire UFO Group produced a full length professional documentary on flying triangular shaped craft in 2004 which has been awarded an 'EBE' at the 2005 Laughlin, Nevada - (International UFO Congress Conference) and interest is now being shown by UK television.

This documentary is available for sale and covers a well documented event from within Staffordshire.

Promoting beliefs

The organisers of the Staffordshire UFO Group have been proactive in disseminating information about the subject and have made a number of visits to BBC Radio Stoke as well as BBC Radio West Midlands and international shows.

Shows such as 'Lets Talk Paranormal' in America (hosted by former 'Stokie'- Tracey Austin), and a recently filmed interview for Channel 5 have been platforms to highlight the subject matter.

For anyone interested in the subject, all are welcome to the meetings held monthly in  Stafford. See http://www.sufog.co.uk/ for details.
