Victoria has had a varied career to date, but she's happy working on the region's most successful local news programme, Spotlight.
Few people know that Victoria actually started her television career behind the scenes as a presentation director at Yorkshire Television in Leeds.
"Over the last 10 years my experiences have continued to be varied," she says. "I have researched in America on a children's television programme and a feature film for the California Film Commission.
"Then I turned my hand to weather presenting, shopping television, corporate presentations, news reporting, and currently news presentation here at Spotlight."
As well as presenting the daily regional news programme at 6.30pm, Victoria also presents the 8pm and 10.25pm bulletins.
Victoria loves all outdoor pursuits and considers her greatest achievement gaining her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Her dog Grizzle also appears on Spotlight from time to time and is actually more recognised than she is.
In 2007, the pair followed the annual Ten Tors event for Spotlight, camping and shadowing groups of children as they tackled the expedition.
"It was so wet the event was called off half way through. Thousands of youngsters had to be air-lifted off the moors in atrocious weather conditions," she said.
The airlift became such a big news story that Victoria broadcast live from the moors for BBC News 24 throughout the day.
"I hadn't had a bath for three days and hadn't really slept as I was sharing a tent with Grizzle, so I didn't look my best for the camera, but I looked the part."
