Hats off to Marky-Mark for this week's Top Trader; so good he named himself twice. Marky is a lover of football, the beautiful game (or at least when it's played properly as he so rightfully points out).
Well, this week's performance was a beautiful one by him, even though the win bonuses did no favours for anyone. Over to the man himself...
1. How does it feel to be Top Trader this week?
A bit of a surprise really. I was trying for it, but thought a weekly percentage gain of less than 1,000% wouldn't be enough!
2. Curse of the win bonuses. Blame Lewis Hamilton. What was it that set you apart from the rest of the players this week and meant you got the silverware?
Doing badly last week! I was away for a wedding so couldn't do a lot. I also stayed away from the F1 win bonus on Sunday because I thought Lewis Hamilton would win anyway.
3. Wasn't a tough prediction. Your most important buy or sell this week?
Buying Alan Smith on Monday night for the dividend, and the possibility of him scoring in the win bonus England game, but he didn't come off the bench.
4. Again Steve McClaren lets down his public. Michael Vaughan became England's most successful England cricket captain ever this week. Who, in your opinion, is England's best ever sporting captain?
I would say Bobby Moore who captained England and his club teams magnificently. Despite his quiet demeanour he commanded huge respect from team-mates and opponents alike.
5. Damn right. Pele loved the bloke. David Beckham is enjoying a career renaissance. Which sports star has performed the biggest career comeback?
I hope Marcus Trescothick is on the way. He's been scoring well again recently for Somerset.
6. Can we add Mark Ramprakash to that? Lewis Hamilton won the Canadian GP to crown his continual podium presence to date. Has there ever been a more impressive start to a sporting career?
I don't think so. He is obviously a quick learner and it seems he has many exciting years ahead of him. It should be a good time to back him for Sports Personality of the Year, but he's already 1-3 favourite!
7. We couldn't possibly comment. Could be seen as insider knowledge! Rafael Nadal continued his clay curse over Roger Federer. Will it be a different story at Wimbledon?
Yes, I think Federer is better on grass.
8. He won't be watching the love scene from Ghost in a while that's for sure. Finally, take the chance to talk about any sporting issue close to your heart. Try and keep it brief.
I'm very good at making poppadoms look like fried eggs, so I think it's about time it was recognised as a sport.
