Shareholder Statement re: Changes to methods of calculating mentions - 15 April 2009
Important information regarding the calculation of mentions
The Sportdaq Board would like to announce that there has been a change to the way mentions are calculated.
As newsprint is so last century, the mentions will now be calculated using selected RSS feeds from the digital versions of the following publications: Daily Mirror, The Sun, Daily Star, Daily Express, Daily Mail, The Times, The Independent, The Guardian, The Telegraph, and their Sunday equivalents.
The aim of the change in the methodology is to make the calculation of shares more dynamic, efficient and robust, whilst reflecting data from a wider number of reliable sources.
