Sochi 2014: Kaitlyn Farrington shocks field to take halfpipe gold

Kaitlyn Farrington of the USA shocks the field to win gold in the women's snowboarding halfpipe competition at Sochi.

She beat defending champion Torah Bright of Australia into second place while 2002 champion Kelly Clark claimed bronze for the USA.

2006 champion Hannah Teter finished in fourth.
