Alcott's extra training run on Sochi course

Great Britain's Chemmy Alcott took to the Winter Olympic slopes on Monday in the downhill section of the women's super combined event.

The 31-year-old Briton is competing in the downhill at Sochi but took the chance to grab an extra training run on the Caucasus Mountains and completed the course in 1:44.83.

An excited Alcott took the opportunity to congratulate GB team-mate Jenny Jones at the end of her run after the British slopestyle snowboarder won Britain's first ever medal on the snow.
