Tennis star Maria Sharapova tells BBC Sport's Nick Hope it is "surreal" to see the transformation of the Winter Olympics host city Sochi, her home town.

The 26-year-old - who has won four grand slam titles, including Wimbledon in 2004 - was speaking at the opening of Samsung's Galaxy Studio in the Sochi Olympic park.

She says the Black Sea resort "is a beautiful venue for all the athletes" and has "some of the best slopes in the world".
