Retired Goddard proud to face Phelps

James Goddard tells BBC Radio Manchester that the chance to compete against Michael Phelps, the most successful Olympian in history, was one of the highlights of his swimming career.

The Stockport-based 30-year-old admits he was tempted to defend his two Commonwealth titles in Glasgow next year, but says the time was right for him to quit and feels comfortable with his decision.
