Redruth coach Ashley Morcom focused for final league push

Redruth v Canterbury

Redruth coach Ashley Morcom says his side need to reproduce the form they showed in Saturday's 22-17 win over Canterbury for the rest of the season.

The Reds' victory took them up to 10th in the table but Morcom wants to see more consistency.

"We've got to go to some hard places still - Cambridge, Shelford, Bishops Stortford," he told BBC Radio Cornwall.

"It's not going to easy but if we play like we can then there's no reason why we cant start turning sides over."

He added: "For these next seven weeks we need to get as many wins as we can and away from home if we can't manage to win we have to come away with a point or maybe two.

"I think we need as many points as we can and hope results elsewhere go our way.

"We've had a pretty rollercoaster season - we've probably lost more at home than we have in the last 10 years.

"But the boys played well against Canterbury. All I do is set things in place - it's up to them to deliver and they did. It makes my job easy when they play like that."
