Redruth coach Ashley Morcom baffled by away form
Redruth coach Ashley Morcom has said he is baffled by their away form.
Morcom's side travel to Bournemouth on Saturday having lost both their previous away trips this term.
"You think it would be easy because it's another patch of grass in the middle of a field somewhere," Morcom told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"It's not like it's any different, like they don't have the same weather or anything like that, so it's a bit bizarre we can't go away and perform."
He continued: "Maybe it's because they have their own crowd there cheering, I don't know, but equally it's hard to come to Redruth and play there.
"It is hard to travel, but we've got to go there and keep it as simple as we can, and make sure we are really abrasive.
"If we're that way this weekend, I can really see us doing over Bournemouth on their own patch."
Greg Goodfellow comes back into contention for the trip to Dorset after serving a four-week ban for dissent in the first game of the season against Cambridge.
But Morcom says he will not slot straight back into the starting line-up.
"He's going to be on the bench, obviously with his ban we can't just bring him back into the side," Morcom said.
"There's a reason why he got a red card and we've got to respect the players we've had cover him."
