Rankings are irrelevant - Gatland

Warren Gatland plays down the fact Wales need to beat Australia to ensure they do not drop out of the top eight in the world rankings.

Gatland's side will drop out of the top eight in the International Rugby Board rankings if they lose, and be in the third tier of seeds for the 2015 World Cup draw.

Wales have lost to Argentina, Samoa and New Zealand during the autumn and will be aiming to avoid a whitewash against the Wallabies.
